Join us for “Native Narratives and Nibbles,” a special panel discussion and brunch on Saturday, August 16, from 11 am–1 pm at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA). This moderated conversation will feature notable Indigenous film and television creators discussing the present and future of Indigenous storytelling on screen.The panel will spotlight the filmmakers behind The Collective Spirit Legacy Short Films, presented by First Peoples Fund. These four short films celebrate the wisdom, artistry, and lasting impact of Culture Bearers from Native communities across the country. The panel is moderated by James Lujan (Taos Pueblo), Chair, IAIA Cinematic Arts and Technology department.

GIFF showcases dynamic work by Indigenous creators at the forefront of film and television.
