Get help with your community group at Erdington Leisure Centre(Erdington)

This event is for you if you are setting up, running or growing a small community or voluntary group in Birmingham and you have an idea or a challenge you'd like to talk over with someone who has lots of experience of doing something similar. It’s taking place at Erdington Leisure Centre- 10.00-12.00pm

It’s being run by Birmingham Community Matters.

At this morning session you can talk to a BCM helper and:

• Work through a question, idea or challenge relating to your group
• Come up with some simple next steps to take
• Meet other people who are making things happen in your area of Birmingham.

• Structures (choosing a structure - what sort of group to set up)
• Governance (recruiting trustees, good practice in running a group or charity)
• Fundraising (finding funders, tips on writing applications, costing bids)
• Promotion (reaching more people, including volunteers).

How to register

Register using Eventbrite - we’ll ask you a few simple questions about your community group/project/idea so we know how best to support you on the day.
