🎉🎣𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙤𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 '𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝' 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩🎣🎉This is our 1st 'Get Fishing with First Catch' day of the 2024 season, with this first event being held at Middle Boswin Fishery near Helston. These events are proudly supported by Get Fishing, Angling Trust and the environment agency. At these events we will be delivering the Angling Trusts 'Get Fishing Awards' in all 3 levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
These event days are heavily discounted on our usual price for a 2 hour lesson at just £25pp and why? Well, the projects aim is to get as many of you out fishing as possible, hopefully making it easier for you to access the sport in the future and enjoying the great outdoors. During the session a First Catch coach will work with up to 4 of you in a group and If you're booking in groups we will keep you together where possible. Your coach will walk you through all the basics of fishing, identifying fish, talking about bait and approaches, setting up and using the equipment, catching fish and hopefully plenty of them, unhooking and handling them and finally returning fish safely to the water. All equipment, bait, rod licenses and a coach are included in the cost meaning all you have to do is show up with a drink, weather appropriate clothing and bundles of enthusiasm.
This event is open to anyone and everyone, but more specifically those that have never tried fishing before. This should give you the opportunity to learn all the basics and experience first hand, with a qualified coach, what it's all about.
On the day, we ask that you arrive up to half an hour before your session starts to meet your coach and the rest of the First Catch team (There might be a very small amount of paperwork to complete). You will be booked into a 2 hour session from either 10:00 til 12:00 or 13:00 till 15:00. We will book up the morning slots first unless you absolutely can't do the morning sessions. We have a maximum of 24 spaces (12 in the morning and 12 in the afternoon) for this event and anticipate that we will fill these quickly so get booked in ASAP.
The most important thing to know about these events is that they are going to be extremely fun with a real fishing buzz around the lake, with our whole team supporting you all to hopefully, experience that first catch feeling.
