"I saw your show live streamed from the Rogue Folk Club last night and give it 5 stars!!!!! I've loved the Beatles since 1964, and I think maybe we could start distinguishing between "tribute bands" and "re-enactment bands." Because isn't the greatest actual tribute to the Fab Four not to slavishly duplicate the arrangements and every note of every song, but to do what you did: bring your stellar musical talents to lovingly reimagining those beautiful gems? The songs were completely recognizable, yet with a newness and freshness that mere re-enactment cannot provide. A fiddle can be a slide guitar? Fab! An accordion can be a menacing bulldog? Far out!
