Join us at the Gerry 5 VFA in Marblehead, MA on February 2nd for a Last Hope K9 Rescue Adoption Event!All attendees must have applications on file in order to be able to enter the adoption event space. The LHK9 adoption application can be accessed here. We highly recommend filling out the application prior to the event, but it can also be completed on arrival.
Fully approved adopters can enter the event at 12pm.
Adopters with applications in process can enter the event at 1pm.
To help ensure we have enough time to process all adoptions and deposits, all adoption and/or deposit conversations must wrap up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled event end time.
Fully approved with no pets/additional humans at home? You may be able to adopt a dog and bring a pup home on event day! Please remember to bring a 6ft non-retractable leash.
Fully approved with pets or additional humans at home? If you make a connection during the event, you can place a deposit of $100 toward the final adoption fee. Deposits hold for 7 days to do any pet meet & greets and welcome your new pup home!

A list of attending dogs will be posted here and on our social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) 48 hours prior to the event. Please note that this list is subject to change.
Important notes:
Children: All children under 5 will need to be in strollers or held for safety. All groups with children under 10 will be provided a family escort to help ensure safe interactions.
Pets: Only adoptable dogs will be permitted inside the event space. If you have a dog or another pet in your home, we will discuss personality matches to assess fit, and schedule a follow up meet and greet between the animals. We are not able to facilitate on-site meetings.
Vacations: If any household members have travel plans in the 3 weeks following the event, you are more than welcome to browse, but please pause on inquiring about a deposit or adoption until everyone has returned. We are not able to hold dogs in their foster homes and will not send dogs to a new home if there is upcoming travel scheduled to ensure a successful transition period.
