About Chef Henry Gutkin, Fredericksburg, Texas
Born in the East-Germany state of Thuringia, Chef Gutkin’s culinary journey began at the age of 17 on the island Juist, in the North Sea. With a career spanning over two decades, his passion for food has taken him across Germany and Austria, and now to Texas. From five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants to large-scale events and exclusive private dining experiences, Chef Gutkin’s diverse background reflects a deep dedication to his craft.
Driven by a love for fresh, seasonal ingredients and a commitment to sourcing the finest local products, Chef Henry has curated a menu that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Germany — honoring tradition while embracing innovation.
