Germanfest 2025Germanfest 2025 will be held on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 in
Quincy's beautiful South Park.
Come to the park to enjoy some German music, food and refreshments. The
event is free and open to the public. Bring a chair!
This year, the Sister City Commission is excited to welcome back the
Waterloo German Band and the Wurst Bavarian Band.
While listening to the traditional German music both days, attendees will
enjoy performances from the Wir Tanzen Dancers, a traditional German dance
group from the St. Louis area.
The events take place from 5-11 pm on Friday, June 6 and from 3-11 pm on
Saturday, June 7.
Germanfest will have a wide variety of 27 different domestic and specialty
beers to choose from including two German-styled brews from Quincy Brewing
Company.
Other vendors include Melton's Kettle Korn, Expressions by Christine,
Tri-State Sno Biz, Underbrink's, Hy-Vee Catering & Chuck's Grilling.
On Saturday, June 7 from 3-7 pm, bring the kids by Kinderplatz, an area
for young children with a variety of activities, crafts, yard games and
prizes. All activities are free to younger children. During this time, we will also have a selection of vehicles from the Quincy Volkswagen club on display.
Parking will be available at Hy-Vee along with a shuttle service available
to the event area.
