If you’ve thought about learning German for fun or travel, the Frankenmuth Sister City Committee has an exciting opportunity for you. The Committee is offering an informal opportunity beginning on Wednesday, September 17, for anyone looking to learn German. The free community lessons are geared toward those new to German up to those with an intermediate language understanding. Additional dates for 2025 include September 17, October 22, November 18 and December 17 at 7 pm at the City Training Center, 210 N. Franklin, just north of the Public Safety Building.The purpose of the classes, scheduled to run monthly, are to build excitement and language understanding in advance of the scheduled 2027 Sister City trip to Gunzenhausen, tentatively planned for July 2 through July 4, 2027. You need not attend all or even the majority of the classes to participate.
