Get into the holiday mood at the indoor-outdoor “Weihnachtsmarkt” a cozy festival featuring a mix of authentic food drinks gifts and decorations for sale. Visit the array of stalls full of gifts and decorations including handcrafted German Advent wreaths. Enjoy German food and beverages home-baked cakes and pastries and Renate’s legendary “Glühwein” a warm spiced drink popular with adults during the holidays in Germany. Jolly St. Nicolas will appear with a sack full of treats for the kids. Sing along with students from the German language program at Sunset Elementary School as they perform traditional German Christmas carols.
The event is sponsored by the Miami German Ministry at the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ. Admission and parking are free.
