Join us on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 11 AM in the newly restored German-American Friendship Garden on the National Mall for a celebration of 400+ years of German contributions to American culture, scientific achievements, the arts and history. Listen to Organ grinder Lola, students from various universities in and around Washington, DC on what Germany and America mean to young people today, the historic background of German American Day and the fascinating history of the Friendship Garden.
