Geri-Fit is an evidence-based series of exercises sitting or standing plus 1Kg weight work for seniors aged 60+.
About this Event

Geri-Fit is an evidence-based, low impact physical fitness program developed in the USA to keep people moving as they age. The exercises used in Geri-Fit are designed to improve flexibility and balance over time. In 2023 City of Swan Libraries participated in a study lead by a research team from Curtin University to implement Geri Fit across several libraries.
Please arrive at 12:45pm for a 1pm start.
Introduction and Information Session
If you are new to Geri Fit, come along to the introduction and information session on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Please note that this program is suitable for seniors aged 60+, and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
