9-time Grammy Award Nominated Jazz Musician Gerald Albright and his bandGerald Albright is an accomplished saxophonist and bass player who has worked alongside artists including Patrice Rushen, Anita Baker, Ray Parker Jr., The Temptations and Whitney Houston.
Albright launched his solo career in the infancy of what became the smooth jazz format. In the later 1990’s he fronted a big band and toured with Phil Collins. Between his last two Grammy nominations for his solo albums, he enjoyed his collaboration on two huge hits, 24/7 with guitarist Norman Brown and Summer Horns by Dave Koz and Friends, which were also nominated for Grammy’s in the category of Best Pop Instrumental Albums.
