Walk along the trail around Medical Lake with Chad Pritchard, professor of geology at EWU and Medical Lake City Councilmember, and Steve Cooper, director of Wastewater Reclamation for the city of Medical Lake. During the walk, learn about the lake’s history and natural science. Walkers assist in gathering water samples for PFAS and stormwater research as well as picking up trash as needed (grabbers and trash bags provided). Be prepared to walk 3 miles.
