Once again, the Town is celebrating Earth Day by giving away trees at the ROC. Canadian Trees for Life provided a grant to the Town to support the giveaway. There are three different varieties of trees in two-gallon pots – Red Maple, Red Oak and Black Cedar. There are 2,000 trees available and Georgina residents are allowed two per vehicle. Request for a specific tree species is not guaranteed. It is first come, first served. 🌱

Take a picture of your planted tree to enter the #GeorginaGrows contest to win one of three $50 gift cards to a tree nursery of your choice.
How to participate:
• Snap a picture of the planted tree received from the Earth Day Tree Giveaway.
• Post it on social media, tagging @TownofGeorgina and include the hashtag #GeorginaGrows.
Winning participants will be randomly selected and notified.
