GEORGIA RAE
Georgia Rae won seven state fiddle championship titles (Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota), five state twin fiddle champion titles (Minnesota and Colorado), and is the 2016 National Twin Fiddle Champion. Her performances showcase her newfound adventures with a loop pedal. The “looper” allows her to record a sound, then when it’s played back, to play live over the recorded music (or record another loop sound) until there’s a one-man band, or in this case, a one-woman band. She hails from Richmond, Wisconsin, just north of the Illinois border and west of Milwaukee, and has travelled all over the Midwest playing festivals, contests and shows. Folks will enjoy her energy and creativity where traditional old-time playing creates a base for jazz inflections, modern folk and roots sounds, original songs, Americana and loop-da-loops galore.
Georgia Rae performs solo, alone on stage with a pedal board and some fancy footwork. She loops the tracks right in front of you and builds each song into flight with beautiful sounds, grooving bass lines, and mystic fiddle solos. Come looking to answer your curiosities and leave inspired and full of creativity.

COLUMBIA JONES (Blues/Americana)
Columbia Jones is a nationally-touring singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and baseball card enthusiast. What began as his blues-fueled busking experiment on the street corners of Salt Lake City, quickly evolved into a nationally-touring act with a handful of well-received singles and one full-length album, “I'm a Terrible Human Being,” under his belt.
Jones’ songs are earnest reflections of the everyday American experience paired with a sound that blends the best elements of Americana, Folk, Country, and Rock. His versatility as a musician is evident in the wide range of instruments and musical styles covered in his studio recordings, as well as onstage his on-stage performance, where gentle acoustic ballads can easily shift to a lively on-stage folk frenzy. Spectators of the this One Man Band can expect to see him perform on guitar while kicking a bass drum, foot tambourine, and some live looping.
