Benefits of Judging:
Judging at our regional event gives business owners and industry leaders the chance to meet students from 33 surrounding counties in Georgia and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and advisors by showcasing the exceptional industries we offer in Troup County.
This exposure creates potential for growth in our community and workforce by showing students the professional opportunities available to them right here in Troup County.
It also provides networking opportunities for you to connect with teachers and advisors from various counties, potentially opening avenues for your business to expand into their areas
Whether you gain valuable connections or opportunities for business growth, the true benefit of this event is your vital role in shaping the future of the students sitting in front of you for a role-play event. These events are crucial to the development of young students as they prepare, study, and immerse themselves in opportunities to master performance indicators and 21st Century Skills in order to excel in their event and advance to state and international levels. When students compete in DECA competitions at the state and international levels, they can explore the world beyond their local community and meet students, teachers, advisors, college recruiters, and industry leaders from across Georgia and around the globe.
