Join Georgettes of Oxford on the first May Bank Holiday for their first picnic and outdoor dance display of the year at Cogges Manor Farm. Cogges was originally a Medieval Manor House and extended throughout the intervening centuries, and is now a working Victorian farm.Before our dance display, we will be picnicking, meeting from 12:30pm onwards.
We shall be dancing at 2pm, demonstrating dances we have practiced in class, and concluding with simple dances for the general public to join in with.
After the dancing, should you wish, there will be time to have a look around the house.
Regency and Georgian day wear is welcomed, as are non-costumers. To blend in, those not in costume may wish to wear a long skirt (ladies) or a white shirt and pale trousers (gentlemen).
Please bring a picnic rug, food and drink for your picnic.
