About this Event
Are you interested in exploring the relationship between global health issues, international affairs, and national security or gaining new technical programming skills from leading global health experts? If so, join us for the Health Diplomacy Training Institute from May 20-June 7, 2024. During this intensive three week training initiative, students and professionals from diverse industries may choose to enroll in one or many programs offered jointly through Georgetown University and the Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science and Security.
The 2024 summer institute will offer seven distinct workshops with topics ranging from health diplomacy, data science, finances of global health, and more. You may register for as many workshops as suits your needs or interests. 100% fees go to support CGHSS faculty and initiatives.

Before purchasing registration, please send your CV and a short (1 page) letter of intent to the event coordinator, Ciara Weets, at [email protected]. Once they are reveiwed ypu will be notified if your are clear to proceed to register.

All workshops will be held in various locations at the Georgetown University hilltop campus in Washington, DC, or online. The specific classroom locations at times wil be confirmed shortly. When registering, each workshop currently specifies the dates, general meeting times (morning/afternoon,fall day), and if the worshop is virtual attendance only.
Current Georgetown students registering for the Global Health nd Security, and Data Sience Badics in R, courses should contact the registrar's office and register for credit. The Eventbrite registration is solely for non-credit students and professionals.
