About this Event
Each year, we invite the families and friends of first-year, sophomore, and transfer students to the Hilltop to experience various aspects of university life at Georgetown. Throughout the weekend, families and their students are encouraged to attend faculty lectures, information sessions, sporting events, receptions, and performances while exploring campus and our nation's capital. Family Weekend programming is geared toward first-year, sophomore, and transfer students and families; however, families of all current Georgetown students are welcome to register to attend. We hope that you can join us for Family Weekend this fall!

Registration Information
The following events and meals are covered by the registration fee unless otherwise noted:
- Deans’ Welcome Receptions on Friday evening,
- Light Breakfast on Saturday morning,
- Breakfast at Leo O'Donovan's Dining Hall on Sunday morning,
- Entry to the Family Weekend Barbecue on Saturday afternoon,
- Faculty Lectures on Saturday morning,
- Shuttle to the National Mall on Saturday afternoon,
- Campus partner events, activities, and programming throughout the weekend,
- Registration materials, swag, publications, and more!
Registration Costs and Deadlines:
Early Registration ($70) - Available from August 27, 2025 - September 19, 2025, at 11:59pm (Eastern Time)
Regular Registration ($75) - Available from September 20, 2025 - October 10, 2025 at 11:59pm (Eastern Time)
On-Site Registration ($80) - Available on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
NOTE: The cost of one Family Weekend registration covers the student(s) and up to five additional family members. Major credit cards are accepted as forms of payment online.
