Surrounded by vineyards, mountains and the unmistakable charm that only Bramon offers, this year’s event promises to be even more immersive, intimate and memorable.Georgetown — a multi-instrumental folk band from Pretoria — has been captivating audiences since 2014. The talented Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins and Tiaan Erasmus bring their stories to life using an array of instruments including acoustic guitar, accordion, piano, upright bass, mandolin, harmonica and their signature vintage suitcase kick-drum. With roots planted in the rich diversity of Southern Africa, the band delivers a distinctive blend of classic and contemporary folk influences. Georgetown has earned a SAMA nomination for Best Contemporary Album and performed more than 700 shows both locally and internationally.
For this special Bramon performance, the band will be joined by legendary drummer Riaan van Rensburg and acclaimed tenor and baritone saxophonist Janus van der Merwe, elevating the evening with world-class musicianship.
