George is a caring individual who would do anything for anyone around him to help them out. George not only cares & helps his loving family & friends but patients & clients alike. Tuesday July 30 - George fell ill being admitted to Noyes.
Thursday August 1 - George was transferred to ECMC in Buffalo for higher level of care.
Saturday August 3 - George was moved to Roswell park cancer center in Buffalo. Once George was at Roswell his amazing team of Drs found a diagnosis; High grade B cell lymphoma. George’s team came up with a treatment plan which includes: every 21 days aggressive inpatient chemotherapy for 5 days at Roswell, at the beginning and end of each round he will need lumbar punctures.
Sunday August 11: George and his wife Renata received news that the most recent lumbar puncture results were back. The lumbar puncture shows the cancer is now in his cerebral and spinal fluid. George’s plan of care changed slightly after this news. He is now still admitted to Roswell where he will receive lumbar punctures twice a week as well as the Chemo every 21 days.
Spaghetti dinner & Silent auction will be held to benefit George and his family with all costs incurred during all of this.
