About this Event

What to expect:

The Geography Society will host an interactive map game where participants predict sightings of different animals throughout the day. A world map highlighting species globally will also be displayed. Information about the Geography Society will be provided alongside snacks and sweets. Additionally, there will be a join-the-dots activity featuring animal shapes, serving as the final activity in the Nature Detectives Trail.

About BioBlitz 2024:

BioBlitz is an interactive, participatory, one-day event bringing together families, school groups, and local community members to engage in nature-based learning with University of Kent students, scientists, and local wildlife experts, including Kent Wildlife Trust; Butterfly Conservation; Kent Moth Group. Hosted by the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE), the aim of the event is to record as many species of wildlife as possible on campus.


Stalls will be located inside the central hub in the Colyer-Fergusson hall (Near Gulbenkian).

No booking is required for any of the stalls. Feel free to drop by at any time during the day to learn more about each organization's activities and participate in their interactive events.
