GEOGRAPHY FIELDWORK WORKSHOP ALWOODLEY PRIMARY
Join us for an engaging workshop that dives deep into fieldwork progression from EYFS to Y6, where you’ll gain valuable insights and practical examples that you can take straight back to your classroom.
As a consultant to the Geographical Association (GA) and Oddizzi, I have helped schools, including my own, achieve the Gold Hub Primary Geography Quality Mark status. Recently, we’ve also enjoyed a highly successful deep dive in geography. I will co-deliver alongside, Jenny Cooke - founder of Oddizzi.
Explore the progression of fieldwork skills across primary school years. • Learn how to make fieldwork an integral part of your geography curriculum. • Gain hands-on examples that you can implement with your pupils right away. In the spirit of transparency, please note that a portion of the workshop will be devoted to showcasing some of the award-winning virtual fieldwork films I have supported Oddizzi in producing. These films are a fantastic resource, and I hope that by the end of the session, you’ll see the value in subscribing to Oddizzi’s website. I am aligned with Oddizzi’s mission of taking geography to the next level and helping create young and enthusiastic geographers whose curiosity about the world will stay with them for the rest of their lives
