ESTKallid geograafia osakonna tudengid, töötajad, vilistlased ja teised geograafia sõbrad!
Kutsume teid laupäeval, 7. detsembril tähistama Eesti geograafia 105. aastapäeva. Tänavu toimub sünnipäevapidu meie armsas Vanemuise 46 hoones, algusega kell 19:00.
Õhtut alustame inspireeriva teaduskonverentsiga, kus saab kuulata põnevaid ettekandeid eri valdkondadest. Peale konverentsi suundume fuajeesse, kus sünnipäevapidu võib alata! Teid ootab ees meeleolukas õhtu täis toredaid tegevusi, sooje taaskohtumisi vanade sõpradega ja võimalusi luua uusi tutvusi.
Muidugi ei puudu õhtu programmist traditsiooniline esmakursuslaste näidend ja oksjon. Tantsu ja laulu saadab elav muusika ja baarist saab terve õhtu vältel maitsvaid jooke soetada.
PS! Sünnipäevapeo hommikul toimub Tartu ülikooli spordihoones osakonna korvpalliturniir, kuhu on oodatud kõik osavõtuhimulised (lisainfo peagi).

Dear students, staff, alumni, and friends of the Department of Geography at the University of Tartu!
We warmly invite you to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the Department of Geography on Saturday, the 7th of December. The party will take place in our beloved institute at Vanemuise 46, starting at 19:00.
The festivities are preceded by an exciting science conference featuring presentations from different fields in geography. After the conference, we will gather in the foyer, where the party begins! Look forward to an evening full of fun activities, reunions with old friends, and the opportunity to meet new people.
As usual, the program will include the traditional first-year student play and an auction. Live music will keep the dance floor moving, and the bar will be open throughout the evening for drinks.
PS! On the morning of the celebration, the department’s basketball tournament is held at University of Tartu Sports Hall for those eager to participate (further information will follow).
