Ross Gillett lives on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Daylesford in the central highlands of Victoria. He is widely published and has won or been shortlisted for numerous awards, and his books The Mirror Hurlers and Swimmer in the Dust are available from Puncher and Wattmann. See rossgillett.weebly.com
Carmel Summers is a Canberra poet and PhD candidate at Canberra University. Her poetry has been published in journals in Australia and overseas as well as in anthologies and The Canberra Times. Her work includes a range of genres, including Japanese forms, formal and unstructured poetry and expressing history through poetry. She is currently exploring the potential for poetry to express lives and history. Her experimental tanka book, The Last Day before Snow, written in response with eight other Australian poets including Kathy Kituai, won the ACT Publishers' Award for Poetry in 2107. Her new collection, Lost in the Pleiades (Ginninderra Press), inspired by the Pleiades or Seven Sisters constellation, was published last year.
