Geoff Achison & The Algo-Rhythms play Martha Salt Sat 20 July!!Aussie blues-roots artist Geoff Achison has won fans around the world with his dynamic guitar style and high-quality songwriting. A country boy from Victoria, Geoff moved to the ‘big smoke’ in search of the blues, beginning a journey which would ultimately lead to extensive touring playing the juke-joints of the American south and across the UK & Europe. He won the ‘Albert King Award’ in Memphis and upon returning home was honoured to be inducted to the Blues Music Victoria Hall Of Fame.
With The Algo-Rhythms, Geoff adds an exciting power trio to his repertoire of acts. An electric blues outfit which encapsulates the free-spirited music-making of the old juke joints. Featuring Dean Matters on drums, Rob Dabbs on bass and led by Geoff’s impassioned vocal & guitar, The Algo-Rhythms leave nothing in the tank.
