Join us for Geocaching 101 led by an expert Kentwood Geocacher! Come learn the ins and outs of Geocaching, an outdoor exploration activity that combines hidden containers and GPS technology, to get outside and explore local parks and trails in Kentwood and beyond! We’ll cover all of the basics from creating your own Geocaching account, navigating to caches, tips and tricks for successful caches, and even creating your very own cache to hide! Light refreshments will be provided, all you need is a smartphone! Like all outdoor activities - geocaching has inherent risks associated with exploring the outdoors. Long pants, bug spray, and proper footwear are recommended. Cost is $5.00 per person to attend.
