About this Event
Join us for a beautiful evening dedicated to growth, awakening, and fresh, joyful energy! Using the Spring Equinox to inspire our session, we’ll first move through an hour-long gentle flowing yoga class, ending with rest and guided meditation. Afterwards, we’ll sit in this blissful post-yoga energy as we reflect with journal prompts to help move us into the new season.
During our time together, you’ll have the opportunity to cultivate a deeper sense of awareness and connection, both to yourself and your surroundings. Pairing aspects of hatha and gentle vinyasa yoga, you’ll focus on developing conscious body and breath connection throughout your practice by both flowing gently through asana sequences and exploring static poses through nuanced movements. We’ll explore moments of mindfulness as we tap into the symbolism of the Equinox, all while taking advantage of the sights, sounds, and sensations Mama Nature has to offer.
As we move and settle into various postures, you’ll be presented with variations when appropriate, allowing you to decide what feels best in your body.
My goal is to help you experience a calmer mind and a more connected body as you wind down from the day under the beauty of the setting sun.

Inclement weather - rain or shine! Kind of…
Tennessee weather can be wild and unpredictable!
When the forecast is calling for rain, tornados, or any other weather that would make our outdoor session unenjoyable (or impossible!), I will be keeping a close eye on the forecast.
☀ If the weather is nice, we’ll practice outside
🌧 If it’s a little rainy, we’ll practice in the barn loft
⛈ If the weather is severe, class will be canceled
If I determine class needs to be canceled, all registrants will receive an email no less than 1 hour before the class start time to inform them of the cancellation and give a full refund.
Cancellation/refund policy
If you need to cancel before class begins, please do so at least 6 hours before class starts (or the night before a morning class!) so you can receive a refund and I can share your spot with someone else. If you do not cancel and do not show up, a refund will not be issued.
About yoga teacher Jess Frischolz
Jess has been practicing yoga since 2008, with a dedicated daily practice since 2015, and started teaching in 2021. She was inspired to deepen her practice through the kind and loving guidance she received from her teacher and mentor, Jennifer Ewert, after becoming a committed student at the studio. With her experience as a former classroom teacher, Jess’s decision to guide others in their own yoga journeys was a seamless transition. She received her 200hr YTT with Jennifer in 2021 from Akasha Yoga Center, with a focus on hatha and vinyasa styles, and influences of viniyoga as well. She has continued her studies through various courses, books, live workshops, and additional trainings, such as a 30hr children’s yoga training in 2024.
Jess teaches with a gentle, lighthearted approach, empowering you to tune into your body and honor what you need by offering variations to find ease or deepen into a posture. Her classes allow you to develop a higher sense of body, breath, and mind connection, whether flowing through vinyasas or finding nuanced movements in static poses. Her goal is to help you cultivate more self-awareness and become more deeply connected to yourself, others, and the world around you.
