About this Event
You are invited to join Jessi Hughes for a 1 hour gentle yoga practice. The class will include beginner-friendly yoga exercises and stretches to benefit your posture, joint mobility and stability, and mind-body coordination. Simple breathing and relaxation practices will also be included. The class pacing will be slow. No prior yoga experience or flexibility is necessary! Bio
Jessi is a lifelong student who is passionate about yoga, mindfulness, holistic wellness, and teaching. She greatly enjoys sharing the wisdom of her many teachers. Jessi has completed 500 hours of formal yoga training as well as a master’s degree in yoga therapy and a master’s in physiology and integrative medicine. Her yoga therapy practice is focused on helping individuals with musculoskeletal issues, conditions, and chronic pain. Jessi is now finishing a PhD in Health and Human Performance, focusing her research on mindfulness for stress management in police officers.
