We will start the evening with a few gentle floor based stretches (suitable for everyone) to help relax the mind and relieve tension from body to prepare for our sound bath.
A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that uses sound (tibetan singing bowls, gong, rain stick, ocean drum, chimes, etc...) to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind, body and soul. This will be done with you lying down or seated in a comfortable position.
After your relaxing stretches you will be guided through a short meditation, including breath work, to help settle you into the experience. You will then spend the end of the session being bathed in the magical sound and vibration of the instruments.
When you sink into a Sound Bath and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state.
The goal of a sound bath is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery. However, due to the magical and powerful qualities of the instruments you may find that it makes you restless, uncomfortable or it might even bring up traumas you have experienced. There is no reason to be scared if this does happen for you as its all part of the process. In order for us to work though all the negatives/traumas we need to be able to let it go first. All the vibrations are doing is shaking it up to the surface so that you can release it. The most important thing is that you don't fight it. If you need to cry, cry. If you need to move, move. If you need you laugh, laugh. I will have created a safe space for you do whatever you need to do to let go and continue to move forward on your path ❤️
We supply all the equipment so all you need to do is wear comfortable stretchy clothing that will keep you nice and warm.
