About this Event
This is a gentle, one-day wellbeing event for women navigating life after difficult or controlling relationships.
The day is designed to feel calm, welcoming and pressure-free. You’ll be invited to take part in gentle movement, simple breathing practices and moments of rest, with everything offered as an option. There is no expectation to talk, share personal experiences or push yourself physically or emotionally.
The event includes three guided sessions across the day:
- Move Through This – a slow, grounding movement session to help release tension and settle the body
- Survivor Steps (Taster) – gentle confidence-building movement focused on posture, presence and ease
- Breathwork & Mindfulness – simple breathing and calming practices to support rest and reduce overthinking
Sessions are spaced out with breaks, refreshments and time to sit quietly or connect with others if you choose. A dedicated quiet space will be available throughout the day, and you’re free to come and go or observe at any point.
This event is suitable for all bodies and no previous experience is needed. Wear comfortable clothing and take part at your own pace. The day will be held in a familiar community venue, with trained facilitators and a supportive, trauma-aware approach.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure where to start with wellbeing after a difficult relationship, this day offers a gentle place to pause, move, and reconnect in a way that feels safe and manageable.
