Gentle Flow with Yoga NidraThis class is designed with 30 minutes of gentle yoga flow, incorporating breath work practice, followed by about 30 minutes of yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is a conscious deep sleep state where the body and mind are deeply relaxed, and where we gain clarity of our inner world. I will guide you through an auditory experience to help induce complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. It is said that 30 minutes hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to 2 hours of conventional sleep.
Bolsters, blankets, and eye covering will be used to assist in creating a relaxing nest for your yoga nidra experience.
My name is Barbara Crowder-Moore and I have been practicing yoga since 2018. During the pandemic, I chose yoga teacher training as my path of healing and self-care which evolved into a desire to teach and share the benefits of yoga with others. I am a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and trained in delivering trauma sensitive yoga, having earned the Warriors 140 Hour Trauma Sensitive Teacher Training Certificate from YogaFit® Worldwide.
