A beloved family tradition in the FLX - ride the festive passenger train and meet Santa and Mrs. Clause! Enjoy a hot cocoa while listening to (or singing along) to Christmas carols. Children receive a coloring book, candy cane, and commemorative ornament to hang on the tree. Don't miss this magical opportunity to make holiday memories!
The five trains will board in downtown Geneva adjacent to the Public Safety Building on Railroad Place, just off Exchange Street. Trains will depart promptly at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The actual boarding time will be 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for any train. The last two trains of the day are the Pajama Trains. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas.
Individual tickets are $25 and Lapsitters under age 2 ride for free. Children also will be able to fill out “wish lists” for their sit down with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
“This is a wonderful holiday event!” said Co-Chair Dave Cook. “Finger Lakes children, parents, families and friends love it as they not only get a chance to ride a train, but they get to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and listen to Santa’s singing elves. Kids of all ages come home with big smiles on their faces and the youngsters get a keepsake ornament, a coloring book, crayons and candy canes.”
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the trains.

“We are so happy that Finger Lakes Railroad and our club are working together to make Christmas spirits brighter for kids and families in the Finger Lakes,” said Rotary President Diana Perry. “Everybody gets off the train with a smile on their face.”
