After selling old tech, antiques, collectibles & many other treasures online since I was a teenager, I am experienced as to how auctions play a part in allowing people like me to buy and resell their unwanted items locally, but exposed to a worldwide audience! It gives others a chance to find value in something you no longer do, whilst making something in the process. Yet most people I know don't know what a resource they can be, or have only been exposed to those that are stuffy, unwelcoming or only go for the big ticket items.
That's where me and Matt come in. We have decided to run a monthly auction out of our beloved Old Foundry Chapel in Hayle. We will be focusing on everything from old tech, collectibles to everyday household items and art. Hayle deserves more to do and we are amongst some fantastic businesses opening to try and make that happen.
Not only are we inviting a local audience, we have negotiated a place on the Easy Live Auction platform (some of the youngest ever), amongst 400 other great auction houses to reach a nationwide and international audience from the get go.
If you fancy giving auctions a go, either buying or selling, please get in touch I would love to help you establish what something might be worth or help locate that treasure you've been looking for. They're not as intimidating as you think and you may be sat on more value than you realise. I just helped sell a pair of speakers for £500 that someone intended to take to the tip. We are open to looking at even the small things that might help you out with a little bit more money and save it from going to waste.
