Join us at our September CSMS General Assembly meeting next month on Thursday September 19th at 7 pm at the Colorado Springs Christian School (4855 Mallow Road, Colorado Springs, CO).Visitors welcome!
Bring any of your recent Summer mineral finds to show off to the group, as well as any snacks, drinks, or deserts you can share.
At this meeting, we’ll hear a presentation from Alex Field and Shane Riddle about a recent trip to the RED CLOUD MINE, near Yuma, Arizona, and its associated minerals including Wulfenite (pictured), Vanadinite, Fluorite, and several fluorescent minerals as well. They will also share about this particular mine's historical connection to Colorado Springs, and our own local society, the CSMS.
In addition, we will have the club laptop set up so we can help members learn how to sign into our field trip and membership website, if they haven’t done so already.
