The Livermore Public Library and the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society (L-AGS) present the second of two free genealogy workshops. It is on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Rooms of the Civic Center Library, 1188 South Livermore Avenue. Registration is not required for this free workshop. Attendees may drop in at any time. Volunteer genealogy docents from L-AGS will work individually with attendees on a first come, first served basis to help them conduct genealogical research using online tools such as Ancestry Library (available only onsite at library), HeritageQuest, and FamilySearch. Laptops will be available for use. Attendees are advised to bring a USB drive so they may save relevant documents. This event is open to all ability levels, from people who have never done any family history research to people who have been working on genealogy for a while.
