The Toledo Library is excited to once again host a day-long Genealogy and Local History Fair at Main Library on (Sa) October 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whether you’re just beginning your Genealogy journey or are looking to dive deeper into your own history or the history of our region, our Genealogy and Local History Fair will be fun for the whole family. Enjoy children’s programs, local genealogy organizations and exhibits throughout Main Library, special lectures, and tours of the Local History and Genealogy Department.
Get to know our nationally-recognized genealogist, Sunny J. Morton:
Sunny Jane Morton is a genealogy educator who has created hundreds of articles and tutorials for genealogists. She is a contributing editor at Family Tree Magazine; content director at Your DNA Guide; co-author of the award-winning How to Find Your Family History in U.S. Church Records; and author of Story of My Life: A Workbook for Preserving Your Legacy, now in its second edition. She will be teaching a writing course at GRIP Genealogy Institute in 2025. You can also find her courses on Family Tree University and at Legacy Family Tree Webinars.
The fair is free, but an optional lunch is available for pre-purchase. All lunch orders must be purchased by (Sa) Sept. 28.
