It's almost time for our genealogy workshops! Our December workshop, Genealogy 101, is perfect for participants just beginning to research their family history. It will feature step-by-step instruction by expert staff followed by hands-on research in the Alabama Department of Archives & History's EBSCO Research Room. Participants will develop a solid foundation to craft an effective research plan and valuable skills to navigate the wide variety of genealogical resources available at the Archives and online.
Registration is required for this workshop. The registration fee includes lunch and is $30 for members of the general public and $20 for students or Friends of the Alabama Archives members. Registration closes Friday, December 5 at 12:00pm CT.
