Gene Parise, also known by his solo moniker Kozmik Riffs, brings emotion and integrity to every song. Gene is a Southern Rhode Island-based, lifelong musician/guitarist/singer-songwriter who has performed in various bands over the past 4 decades. He performs solo as well, sharing his original songs and also covering some of the truly revered great folk/rock/country songs and Americana songwriters, but always in his own unique style. Gene was the guitarist with the EASY GOIN’ band for nearly two decades after which he helped found the classic rock band RETROACTIVE till 2008. He was the co-founder and guitarist of the beloved band WHEELHOUSE for nearly a decade; which featured some of the finest musicians in the region. In recent years, he has been a guitarist/vocal member of the trios, MEN WITH GUITARS. and KOZMIK RIFFS. In 2010, Gene co-founded and hosted a weekly Open Mic at Perks & Corks in Westerly, RI while he also managed the live entertainment, booking live acts 6 nights a week till 2020. In essence, Gene Parise brings emotion and integrity to every song. His playing and singing are soulful and heartfelt. He only performs the songs he "believes in”; great covers and originals, each of them entertaining, each of them honest.Kyle Rathbun is known for his engaging vocal delivery, dreamy melodies, and a sound that blends indie, alternative, emo, and pop rock. His songs usually center around a guitar and an emotion, with compelling lyrics that may find a welcome home with fans of Phoebe Bridgers or Death Cab for Cutie.
