We are at the early stages of planning the Celebration of Life for our friend Gene McNeely. As of right now we have the date set, and it will begin at 2 PM. The choice of date was largely driven by wanting it to be after the temperatures in Florida have cooled down, wanting to make sure that as many of Gene's friends who are not here for the summer have returned and also wanting to make sure that the members of the Titan Aerobatic Team would be able to attend and do the fly-over / missing man formation.
There are a lot of things that we need to get organized, but at the moment the biggest one is to get a realistic idea of how many people we can expect so that we can plan accordingly (tables, chairs, catering, parking for cars and airplanes, blocks of hotel rooms, etc).
We are also creating a slide show that we will be showing, so please send us any photos of Gene that are special to you (along with a description of the photo) and we will be sure to include them.
Gene was such a remarkable man and we were all blessed to have known him. Let's do everything that we can to honor his memory and give him the best sendoff possible.
