The Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation is pleased to invite you to a 2-day workshop on the Feminist Lens in Development with leading Canadian expert on gender equality, Karen Craggs-Milne in Regina. This is open to community-based organizations, university students, academics, and the general public.
This 2-day workshop will cover everything from the foundational concepts of gender equality, to the new Feminist International Assistance Policy in Canada and impacts for Canadian NGOs, to gender-based analysis for programming.

About the trainer: Karen Craggs-Milne has extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating gender-sensitive programming within the international development sector, and specifically with Plan International Canada and their Because I Am A Girl campaign. Karen also planned several Annual Technical Roundtables around Gender Equality in collaboration with the Canadian government, leading sector experts and NGOs from around the world. Karen is an Obama White House recognized Gender Equality Changemaker (2016). Karen has a bilingual B.A. in International Studies with Honors from Glendon College, York University and a M.Sc. in International Development Management with Merit, from the London School of Economics, in the UK.
