Gender-Affirming Healing Voice Circle is a monthly circle facilitated by Asa, queer music therapist, for 2 spirit, trans, queer, non-binary, intersex, and all the gender expansive folks who need a safe space for healing, nurturing, and empowering yourself.We will meet monthly to let every feeling breathe and reconnect with our own voice so that we can shine on our own no matter what. We are not meant to navigate any challenges alone!

Facilitator:
Asa Kando (they/them/iel) is a certified music therapist and sound therapist who is passionate about cultivating sustainable support for people to reconnect with their authentic voice and innate healing ability.
Asa has been working with displaced individuals and people experiencing difficulties in systemic challenges, transitions, cultural conflicts, hormonal wellbeing, and aging, especially in the trans/queer/non-binary and BIPOC communities.
Asa offers trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, decolonizing, culturally-centered, gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming care, which stems from their life experiences in different cultures (Japan, India, Egypt, Italy, and Canada) as a queer student, artist, parent, temporary resident, immigrant, and therapist.
