About this Event

RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER 11TH
Join us for a 3 course family-style dining experience with Chef Marco at Barrila Pastaria, paired with a literary artist panel, moderated by agent Cynthia Cannell and editor Ellen Darion. Panelists include writers Antoinette Autorino, Stella Keating, Eve McDavid, and Eli Stoneman, discussing their creative process and answering questions about their pieces in the Gen-Art Exhibition.

About The Artists:

Antoinette Autorino is a writer, teacher and yogi who loves language and its use in poetry to celebrate the human spirit, joy, and the hardships of life. Her work has been published in several anthologies, and she is currently completing her third full length poetry collection.

Stella Kamakaris Keating, founder of the North Fork Poetry Society, hosted the first NFPS Poetry Reading, presenting eight women poets and artists, at Poquatuck Hall, in Orient. Stella organized and ran poetry workshops for children and teens, during her time as a children’s librarian, and, as a special education teacher. Her poem “pocket” was included in the 2019 edition of Oberon Poetry Magazine.

She published her chapbook ‘poems’ in memory of her mother, Pauline Kalogeras Kamakaris, in March of 2015.

Eve McDavid, the CEO and Co-Founder of Mission-Driven Tech. She is a tech executive, journalist, media expert and stage IIB cervical cancer survivor. She began her career at the beginning of the modern digital marketing era. From more than a decade of experience at Google, Eve specializes in product development, commercialization and building strategic partnerships spanning private industry and the public sector. She's built a track record of thought-leadership by introducing industries to new technology and demonstrating how adoption unlocks unparalleled growth.

Forever transformed by cervical cancer, Eve is a passionate advocate for women's healthcare access and equity. As a woman in tech trained in complex problem solving, she's joined the World Health Organization's fight to eradicate Cervical Cancer by 2030. She's also collaborating with Weill Cornell Medicine to modernize treatment devices to improve women's care, outcomes and access.

She is now exploring how to spread her message through literary arts and poetry!

Eli Stoneman is a tradesmen, writer, bit of a fool. Still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. Lives in the woods on the north Fork. Has a big hairy dog who is his best friend. Has written to Novelas, and a series of short storiesthat are soon to be published. I recently recorded audiobook of some of those same short stories is available on YouTube. Eli likes anchovies on his pizza.
