
GemStreet USA brings its biggest collection ever of gems fossils minerals jewelry and beads to Northeast Ohio
Expanding into two exhibition buildings instead of one the GemStreet USA Show and Sale is
doubling down on its Cleveland show set for March 7-9 at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.
“For the past several years our loyal following as well as the number of exhibitors who have wanted to be in our show have grown dramatically” says Melanie Hawkins who is from the show’s Four Sisters Productions. “So to keep up with demand we decided to expand doubling the amount of space and artists and collectors offering rocks minerals fossils gems jewelry beads metaphysical items and home decor.”
Meet a Few of the Vendors
When it comes to internationally sourced beads and artisan components look no further than Tamie Simpson of Many Hands Marketplace which is headquartered in Michigan.
“Enamels allow the artist to create deeply saturated pieces that are popular now” she says. “We also offer handmade Raku ceramic beads and pendants that tap into a Japanese firing technique that produces one-of-a-kind glazes and textures.”
For jewelry and home decor design Stan and Julie Molenda of Multi-Facet Productions create distinctive jewelry rocks gemstones wire wrapped pieces and one-of-a-kind steampunk lamps. For the past 30+ years this family run business which is based in Rock Creek Ohio has traveled the East Coast and Midwest.
The vendor aptly named Rock Addicts will bring to the show an eclectic variety of polished and rough gemstones. According to Cindy Addison one of the owners “Some highlights of our collection will be Noble Serpentine aka Healerite from the Wild Turkey mine in Washington State and Honeycomb Calcite from Utah. We will also have some gorgeous pieces of amethyst.”
When it comes to fine jewelry Marti Robers of Gem Miracles in Cincinnati offers several lines including the Kite Collection in sterling silver and 14K gold with gemstones found in America. She also offers the Butterflies and Myths collection of real butterflies set in sterling silver and rings set in amber from the Baltic Sea.
“The butterflies which were not harmed to create the pendants and earrings come from Peru where most of the butterflies in our hemisphere live over the winter” says Marti. “They are colorful exquisite and a true marvel of nature.”
Also after an absence of several years back by popular demand are the experts from Armstrong Tool & Supply Company. According to Kevin Squires they plan to bring a host of magnifiers jewelers’ tools silver copper brass bronze wire silver and copper jewelry findings chains display cases and trays.
