In this 5 nights and 6 days of tour itinerary, we have included major tourist destinations of Nepal with Kathmandu, Pokhara.Kathmandu the valley is bowl-shaped and is the site of an ancient lake. The land is very fertile and this, along with the suitable weather patterns, make it ideal for farming and this is probably the reason that the valley was chosen as a center for population. This is a place where art and religion have come together in the form of magnificent architecture. The significance of these ancient sites has been recognized by UNESCO who have designated seven Monuments Zones.
Pokhara is the second most visited city in Nepal, as well as one of the most popular tourist destinations. It is famous for its tranquil atmosphere and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Pokhara lies on the shores of the Phewa Lake. From Pokhara you can see three out of the ten highest mountains in the world (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manasalu). The Machhapuchre (“Fishtail”) has become the icon of the city, thanks to its pointed peak.
It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.
