GEMS Girls Empowered Motivated and Strong High School Group

8-week GEMS (Girls Empowered, Motivated, and Strong) Girls Self Esteem Group. During this group, girls will be given the opportunity to feel empowered, gain self-awareness, develop coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, understand that they are not alone, and learn to make healthy decisions. This group is designed for girls currently in 9th-12th grade. Cost includes all materials needed.

Erica Tatum-Sheade, LCSW is a licensed child and adolescent therapist, Certified Daring Way Facilitator, and Registered Play Therapist practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her primary focus is helping children and families in a tough spot get back to well-being. This group is designed as a psychoeducational group focused on skill building, and not a replacement for individual therapy. This group is designed for girls in grades 9th-12th and focuses on collaboration and connection.
