This is a free casual event, great for those just starting to playing the Pokémon TCG or for trying out a new deck! We will also be available to teach those interested in learning to play Pokémon TCG or those in need of a rules refresher.Participants will receive a generic match slip to record their casual matches during Open Play. Play! Pokémon Prize Packs* or League promo cards* will be given out to participants who battle at least two different trainers during League Open Play. A random drawing of promotional item(s) will take place on the last League Open Play event of the month. You will receive one entry into the drawing for each different trainer you battle during Open Play (for a maximum of 3 entries per day).
*while supplies last, limit of 1 Prize Pack or League promo card per person per week. A Pokémon Player ID is required.

In September 2025 Pokémon will start using an app to check in for Play! Pokémon events, including Pokémon League. You are able to download the app now, but we will not start using for check-in until September. We will still be able to manual enter Pokémon Trainers that do not have the app.
