Explore how to make monoprints with a gel plate. In this class, you’ll learn how to use, maintain and store your plate. The gel plate is very versatile for making prints using acrylic paints, inks, water colors, alcohol inks, water soluble markers and much more. We will use plant material, feathers, bubble, netting, stencils and more to create textures in your prints. By the end of class you will have made many papers that can be made into collage, cards, framed art and more. Everything will be provided for the class including an 8 X 10 Gelli Arts plate and brayer to take home. If you already own these items and plan to bring them to class, you may sign up for instruction only, and select the lower class fee.All students must sign up by August 30th to ensure we have time to order supplies.
Class fee:
$90 for BAGA members, or $50 if you bring your own gelli plate and brayer.
$95 for non-members, or $55 if you bring your own gelli plate and brayer.
