McKinney artist, Karren Case, invites you to discover the fun of making art using a Gelli Plate to produce colorful, creative, multi-layered prints.
Week One: Explore (and have fun with) colors, shapes, and layering. Students will be pulling prints (lots of prints) as you learn this easy method of mono-printing. Karren will also introduce you to the single pull technique. Also known as a two hour “pull party”!
Week Two: Students get even MORE creative as several of the previously handmade Gelli Plate art prints will be torn up and used in a collaged piece of artwork. Imagine that! Collage papers, from prints made by YOU, turned into a fabulous art piece worthy of framing - Karren says, "Your friends will be so jealous!"
