About this course
Bring along your gel prints and learn how to create a doodle and pattern altered book. Don’t worry if you haven’t any gel prints, we shall create some in the first session.
Over the duration of five weeks, you will be shown how to recycle a hard-backed book and change it into a book of colourful patterns and doodles. You will be shown a variety of mediums and different techniques to use with your gel prints. We shall be learning about surface pattern design, patterns and doodling and using a combination of these you will be creating your own patterns within your altered book.
By the end of the course, you will: have explored and learnt many different pattern and doodling techniques to create a beautiful book of your own designs and you will become confident with experimenting with colour, shapes and pattern.
